Eriedrone was the Karo of the Space Shogunate Jark Matter who ruled the Sagittarius Constellation system and served as the initial main antagonist of Uchu Sentai Kyuranger.
He was voiced by Takaya Kuroda who previously voiced Yaiba of Darkness.
Biography
Eriedrone oversees Jark Matter's subjugation of the planet Crotus but his forces are unable to prevent the initial three Kyurangers from allowing numerous civilians to escape Jark Matter's grip. This is realized by Don Armage who blasts Eriedrone back when the Karo contacts him to announce the joyous news of the conquest. Ordered by Don Armage to eliminate the insurgents, Eriedrone has his Big Moraimarz hunt the Kyurangers down on Jagjag. Ultimately, however, Eriedrone only succeeds in providing the trial by fire which causes a further two Kyurangers to emerge, making a combination of five Voyagers to form KyurenOh which destroys the Tsuyoindaver that Eriedrone sends against them on Jagjag's moon. On Zigama, Eriedrone engages Champ, Spada, Hammy, and Garu, easily overwhelming the incomplete team who are forced to fall back in their Kyutama.
Discovering the presence of a new Kyuranger attacking the others on Needle. Eriedrone realizes that he can be made to serve Jark Matter. Appearing before this Stinger, Eriedrone recruited him to the Shogunate. Though the seven-man Kyuranger team later depart the preserved Needle after having destroyed the Moraimarz draining Planet Jume, Eriedrone is assured by Stinger that they will not escape him this time. Fantasizing about fighting against Jark Matter herself, Raptor 283 envisions saving the Kyurangers from Eriedrone. Learning that the Kyurangers have arrived on Earth, Eriedrone and Stinger are ordered by Don Armage to eliminate the rebels at any cost lest they discover the planet's secret.
Eriedrone and Stinger capture Kotaro Sakuma with the help of Yumepakkun to get the Kyurangers to surrender the Kyutama. However, Stinger betrays them (having only worked with Eriedrone to get information on his brother) before joining the Kyurangers as Kotaro becomes Koguma Blue. Together, they easily decimate the Jark Matter forces and destroy Yumepakkun when he enlarges so Eriedrone flees to his Big Mouraimarz. However, the Voyagers follow and they destroy the space station together with Eriedrone being unable to escape and going down with it. The Big Mouraimarz's explosion obliterates Eriedrone's Enlarge Inro, preventing him from growing to giant size.
Kyuranger Final Live Tour
In a parallel universe, the war with the Jark Matter never ended so that universe's Eriedrone is sill alive. Don Armage sends Eriedrone with some Indavers and Tsuyoindavers to lure the Kyurangers to him with Eriedrone and his footsoldiers quickly being slain by Tsurugi's Phoenix End.
Zenkaiger
Eriedrone is among the villains revived by Super Warumono World to capture the Zenkaigers and remake the Earth as a planet run by villains. He is among the villains led by Super Warumono World to fight the Zenkaigers and Sentai Red. When Super Warumono World is killed, Eriedrone ceases to exist.
Powers and Abilities
- Strength: Eriedrone was just as powerful as any Karo is and it means he is the force to be reckoned with, easily overpowering the Kyurangers at the beginning of their journey.
- Shock-Wave Generation: Eriedrone could fire devastating yellow shock-waves from his hands.
- Electricity Enhancement: Erniedrone could turn static into electricity and fry his enemies with it.
- Mouraimarz Piloting: Erniedrone was able to put up a decent fight against the Voyagers in his base but was ultimately killed.
Arsenal
- Electrongbow: Eriedrone used a giant gold arrow & bow shaped halberd as a weapon.
- Energy Arrows: Like a normal bow and arrow, Eriedrone could pull back the string and release it to generate golden energy arrows to rain down on his enemies.
- Energy Slashes: Eriedrone could charge golden lightning into his Electrongbow to then unleash a devastating energy slash from the top.
