Yurub is the Alien Magma captain of the Magma Invasion Army that attacks Planet D60 and a supporting antagonist of Ultraman Regulos.[1][2] He has a younger sister named Lava from the same force, as his care for her tempers his cruelty in the battlefield.

- Yurub's voice actor, Koichi Toshima, is no stranger to both portray and voice the Alien Magma race in several Ultraman Series installments, having portrayed the character as part of Tsuburaya Productions' public relation activities as well.[1][2] Yurub's case however makes it the first named Magma that Toshima delivers his voice to.
- Yurub's position in his team mirrors the Alien Magma Middle Brother from Ultraman Festival 2018 Live Stage Part 2, in that he is the de jure in the chain of command. His costume however recycles the elements from Alien Magma Eldest Brother.
- The costume in turn was altered from Acrobattle Belial from ULTRA HEROES ACROBATTLE LIVE 2015. Ironically that show also featured an Alien Magma.
