Trivia

7X 01A29
  • According to screenwriter Yuji Kobayashi:[1]
    • Kobayashi stated that the "X" in Ultraseven X was decided later in development. During the planning stage, the working title was REBORN. Initially, there was an idea to name the parallel worlds "V-Teria" and "X-Teria," inspired by the "Alpha World," "Beta World," and "Gamma World" from Charlie Jade (2005). Though this naming concept was ultimately not used, the title "X" was derived from it.
    • The most "evil" force in the series is the Rulers, but according to Kobayashi, director Yagi never intended to create a straightforward, easily understandable "evil organization." Even in the real world, true "evil" does not manifest in such a simplistic way. Instead, it often operates from the shadows, controlling everything out of sight. Thus, in this series, "evil" was designed as an abstract force—something that endlessly proliferates rather than having a conventional invasion motive. The Rulers even dismiss the idea of conquest as "vulgar" in their dialogue.
    • Although dialogue was included to help convey this concept, Kobayashi's intent was to evoke a sense of overwhelming terror and vastness without excessive explanation.
  • Just like the last episode, no enemy or alien monster appears in this episode, and the Grakyess only appear briefly.
