Beren (ベレン) is an Elder Dwarf that Makoto Misumi met and is currently one of the blacksmiths of Asora and the Kuzunoha Company.
Design
Appearance
Beren has a classic Dwarf appearance; short and stocky. He has dense head and facial hair. As adventurer dwarf, he wears armor that he made to defend himself for taking care of commodity that he always looking for craft.
Personality
He is loyal and clever about environment. He is not easy to believe when the reality he knows is not the same and thinks that it’s a dream. Beren is extremely loyal to Misumi Makoto. He wants to be relied on by the Kuzunoha Company, in front of Raidou himself.
Biography
Beren fces a grave threat when he and his fellow dwarves are attacked by the Black Spider of Calamity, a formidable enemy that causes significant chaos and destruction. After this attack, Beren manages to reach Asora, where he was saved by Makoto Misumi. Recognizing his skills and the potential for collaboration, Tomoe recruits Beren and his fellow dwarves.
Beren becomes one of the greatest blacksmiths in Asora, as well as in the Kuzunoha Company. He operates out of Tsige's shop, where Mio takes Hibiki's group for new equipment, creating the heroine a new sword.
Powers & Abilities
In terms of weapons, he has a decent mastery in a good amount of them, but the one he is the best with is the axe. Beren’s fighting style is to use a variety of equipment's and tools with effects, and by taking advantage of those, he aims for a decisive strike with his axe.
In terms of magic, he can use self-buffs and healing, but other types of magic are on the negative side.

- Blacksmith: He is one of the best blacksmiths even among the other elders dwarves.
- Appraisal: A skill that permits him to grasp the quality of equipment.
Creations
- Storage Ring: It is an item that lets to use Asora like a storage Device or dimensional space, it’s simple to see it as an item that opens a storage of big capacity. Einkaref receives one as a gift from the dwarf.
- Bow
- Azusa: "Azusa Yumi" is a special long bow with the same proprieties as Draupnir as it stores mana and then converts it into magical power when shoots an arrow.
- Wind Sword: A magic sword able to evolve and adapt to the user, also imbued with Wind magic. It was built with materials from a monster that Shiki fused with a wind Spirit in the past.
