Synopsis

Toriko and Komatsu explore the despicable depths of Honey Prison as they make their way to the one called Zebra. Dare they hope to survive such a deafening encounter!?

Summary

Toriko was talking to Zebra on his way with Komatsu, as if talking to himself, since Zebra is kilometers away. That worried Komatsu into thinking ghosts were around. Toriko introduced Komatsu to Zebra while dragging a ton of beasts as a souvenir up the hill. Upon reaching Honey Prison, they found vice warden, Ohban, in wait for them. They descended with an elevator to the prison’s insides, with Ohban as their guide. Ohban started giving an overview about the prisons; Gourmet prisons house criminals who broke the 8 IGO Gourmet Laws. For the A-Class Food Crimes, there are 3 prisons: Sky Prison, Prison Submarine, and the largest of all, Honey Prison.

After descending the elevator, they arrived at the reception area, where A-Rank Execution beasts roam. Toriko was excited to meet the supposedly ferocious warden who tamed all those A-Ranks. At the reception desk sat Chupali, who reported to Ohban that Zebra’s injured 20 prisoners, and that the warden is in a bad mood due to Zebra’s discharge. They stumbled upon a door with “Menu IV” on top, which Ohban mentioned is one of the Punishment Menus for prisoners, with each Course prepared in correspondence to the crime committed. Toriko and Komatsu see familiar criminal faces. The punishment descends with the Course floors, starting from the Hors-D’oeuvres floor, where they take your favorite food--> Soup, where soup is poisoned--> Fish, where you only get to drink--> Meat, where even drink isn’t allowed--> until finally reaching the floor where they themselves get cooked, and then thrown outside to the wild beasts, hence the name Stolen Food Full Course.

Toriko had high hopes upon seeing the warden’s huge office door, only to find a tiny looking kid; warden, Love, who used her pheromones to attract them; she can control all beasts and humans with those pheromones, except Zebra, who ignores her. Ohban explains: her anger towards Zebra’s discharge was not because he’s dangerous, but from sadness for his departure. Love leads them to the Main Dish Floor, where the most dangerous criminals and beasts go, including Zebra. Komatsu asks about Zebra’s crime to which Love replies that he ate a lot. Looking down to Zebra’s chamber, Toriko saw Zebra’s limbs all chained, and noticed him silent since they arrived, marking an attack charge. Suddenly, the 4 beasts tying Zebra’s limbs pulled the chains at the same time, trying to kill him. Toriko warned Komatsu to close his ears, and right away, Zebra unleashed his Sound Bazooka on the chains and beasts, destroying them all. After the attack subsided, Toriko scolded him for attacking while they’re close, and Zebra laughed, asking if his voice woke Toriko up from his boredom.
