The Clyde 56s were the seventh incarnation of the Clydes. An image and a short bumper featuring one of the Clydes was shown during the Toonami panel at San Diego Comic Con 2016 on July 21, 2016. The Clyde 56s officially premiered on the block on July 23, 2016, when the same bumper from Comic Con aired during the Toonami broadcast.
Appearance
There are two Clyde 56s, that differ in appearance from one another. The body of one of them is much skinnier and it has a 3-pronged claw for one hand. The other has a 2-pronged claw for one hand, a circular head and a fatter body. These Clydes perform tasks around the Vindication, similar to their predecessors. In one bumper, they were also shown to have identity disks that they threw at each other, a clear reference to the film Tron.
History
The Clyde 56s appeared in Intruder III but played a minimal roll in the story. However, in Countdown one of the Clydes was used by Future TOM to record a message for current TOM, explaining the situation and what current TOM could do to save the future. In The Forge, the Clyde 56s were destroyed by the Forge Commander in the first episode.

Trivia
- So far they are the last model of Clydes. The GPS Absolution Mk. XIV did not come equipped with Clyde 57s.
