Appearance
Body
Azura is a witch of medium size with light brown skin, a pointed face with long braided teal-colored hair, dark cyan eyes, and a dark beauty mark below her left eye.
In Luz's story at the beginning of "A Lying Witch and a Warden", Azura's appearance takes after Luz, likely because it is how Luz imagined her to look while reading the book.
Clothing
Azura wears a witch's outfit consisting of a white sweater with flared half sleeves surmounted by a purple yoke decorated with a yellow star over a black long-sleeved dress with a dark gray long skirt. Under the skirt, she wears dark gray leggings and black boots. On her head, she wears a floppy, white, pointed, broad-brimmed hat surrounded by a gold coronet. She carries a white staff with a huge blue teardrop-shaped crystal at the top which has a sliding dark gray area on the handle, able to be cocked like a cannon or gun.
In The Good Witch Azura The Movie 2: The Betrayanning in "Thanks to Them", Azura's outfit has a similar appearance, but with a few changes and additional details. The white flared sleeves are longer and a little wider with light gray trims, the black long sleeves are fingerless, the yoke has a high V-neck cut on the collar and the star is gone, the gold coronet is three-pointed with a blue diamond in the center resembling a tiara, the skirt is shortened to knee-length with a jagged rim, and the boots have a gold button. In addition, the dress has two fasteners with a side button near the chest, a gold belt around the waist, and a white side cape with five gold stars, a wide gray hem at the edge, and a magenta strap with a red epaulet with gold tassels and a dark cyan gem with a gold star on the front.
Personality
Azura is a good witch - though one who is quick to show ferocity towards her foes - and can be seen in various posters and books throughout the series. She is also idolized by Luz and Amity, who both have several books based on Azura and are obsessed with reading them.

Trivia
- Luz has a fictional persona named "Luzura" which is directly based on Azura. This persona has been referenced in the episodes "Lost in Language" and "Sense and Insensitivity", the latter of which features a story written by Luz that has Luzura in a lead role. When King takes over the writing of the story, he kills off Luzura, upsetting Luz in the process. Luz uses this persona again in "Elsewhere and Elsewhen", when she interacts with Philip Wittebane in the Savage Ages, which Emperor Belos thinks is her real name in "Hollow Mind".
- In Azura's canonical depiction, she is taller and has a more mature-looking appearance, while Luz's fantasized version of Azura (Luz as Azura) shares more traits with herself than the actual Azura. This is fitting as Luz often likes to view herself in the role of Azura.
