Gareth Tjasink

Gareth Neville Tjasink^[1] is a contestant from Survivor South Africa: Panama.

The strongest member of the Rana tribe, Gareth was frustrated by his tribe's losing streak in Reward Challenges, but helped to secure the numerous Immunity Challenge victories that allowed them to clinch the majority entering the merge. There, his challenge aptitude won him the first four Immunity Challenges, setting him up neatly for a spot in the Final Two. However, the return of two former Aguilas from Dead Man's Island spelled the end of Gareth's stay in the game, as they convinced Jacinda Louw to eliminate a challenge threat and blindside Gareth.

What are your weaknesses? 'I'm gonna starve: I eat continuously -it's the number one thing. I don't take rejection very well.'
If you're the first to go, how do you think you'll react? 'I'd be humiliated - it's a good indication of how you come across.'
If you win, what would you do with a million rand? '[I would take a] trip to a beach where I can order a meal from a menu.'^[2]
