Kagami is a custom character that appears in Soulcalibur III's Chronicles of the Sword mode.
An officer of Grandall, he is in charge of sighting outer menaces to the empire. He was assented in the outskirts of Grandall with his unit, and upon seeing the Cadet coming with a rebellion force, he quickly sent a message to warn his emperor. Though he's defeated in battle, he's successful in sending the message.
When engaged in battle, he's possibly one of the most difficult final units to fight since he causes a guard break on all his hits, making defense almost useless against him as he'll quickly overwhelm defensive players. He also is alot more adept at defending against anti-AI moves, making this more a battle of skill and timing since there's no exact method to beating him besides correctly choosing when to engage or defend against him. Quicker classes with swifter moves upon guard breaks is recommended as slower, more powerful disciplines may slow you down and leave you open to counter hits.
