Shadow Rocket

Shadow Rocket (シャドウロケット, Shadōroketto^?) is a move used primarily by Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic Battle. In the game, it serves as Shadow's Air Attack.

Description

When performing Shadow Rocket, the user roll-turns around horizontally in mid-air and ascends a little higher into the air. The user then launches a diving kick by first stretching out their leg and titling their foot on the stretched leg slightly inward, while aiming it at the opponent below.

In gameplay, the first portion of the attack is able to damage the opponent before the dive kick comes out, via the initial rolling-turn portion.

Emerl can randomly obtain this skill after participating in a fight with Shadow, either with or against him.

Trivia

• Despite only being Shadow’s move and appearing in one game, Sonic performs a similar move in the Super Smash Bros. series which Sonic uses a similar downwards diving kick as his Down aerial.
