Nakayoshi Chao! (なかよしチャオ！[2], Nakayoshi Chao!? lit. "Good Friend Chao!") is a mobile phone game released as a part of the Sonic Cafe service offered by Sega. It is the first 3D game to be offered by the service.[3]
Gameplay
In Nakayoshi Chao!, the player can raise Chao as virtual pets, similarly to the Chao Gardens and Tiny Chao Garden. The player may pet it, talk to it and much more. If the player interacts with their Chao a lot, the room that the player's Chao lives in can be decorated with wallpapers downloaded from the Sonic Cafe website.
The player can interact with their Chao through the left softkey, the action it will cause is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen. Just above the action display is the Chao's name, with their health bar listed out of five hearts beside it.
