Hogi is a character in the Sonic the Hedgehog serialized manga published by Shogakukan. He is the father of Anton Veruca and his siblings, and the husband of Vera Veruca.
Appearance
Hogi is a small and green anthropomorphic lizard. For attire, he wears a chef outfit, tie, and dress shoes and sports a thin black mustache in the Shogaku Ninensei stories. In The Adventures of SONIC the Hedgehog on the other hand, he instead has stubble and wears a similar outfit, but with the addition of gloves and no chef's smock.

Personality
Subservient to a fault, Hogi is at his wife Vera's every beck and call and although he attempts to take her harsh attitude in stride, he seems to be as afraid of her as their children are.
