Kenji Terada (寺田 憲史 Terada Kenji?) is a Japanese scenario writer, anime director, series organizer and novelist. Kenji created the concept and back-story for the Sonic the Hedgehog manga published by Shogakukan between 1992 and 1994, although the stories themselves were written and illustrated by different creators.
Outside of Sonic, he is known for writing the first three games of the Final Fantasy series. He also created the concept for the Sega CD game Dark Wizard. Additionally, he has served as writer and director for many anime series.[1]
