GonGon

GonGon (ゴンゴンー, Gongon̄^?) is a main character in the Super Monkey Ball franchise. Originally a rival of AiAi, GonGon is now his best and one of his closest friends, as they go on several adventures together. GonGon can be seen as a little arrogant, but is very loyal and kind.

Appearance

GonGon is a masculine monkey with brown fur and dark tan skin, most noticeably on his face and on his feet. He stands taller than most average sized monkeys on Monkey Island, and wears a pink tank top with his initial “G” printed on the front.

Sega Superstars

GonGon is a playable character in Sega Superstars. In the Super Monkey Ball missions, the player must move their arms into different positions in order to guide the Monkey Ball around obstacles and towards the goal, picking up as many bananas as possible along the way.

Sega Superstars Tennis

GonGon cameos in Sega Superstars Tennis. Before playing one of the Super Monkey Ball games, GonGon will appear on the loading screen, alongside his friends. On the Super Monkey Ball court, GonGon will also appear on the sideline cheering on the opponent(s).

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, GonGon cameos during AiAi's All-Star Move, alongside MeeMee and Baby.

GonGon is also mentioned in the Collection Room while viewing AiAi's character information.

Sega Heroes

GonGon is a minor protagonist in Sega Heroes, as well as a playable rare green hero. He is one of the 4 Super Monkey Ball characters that is playable, as well as one of the 3 that appears with a speakable role in Campaign. GonGon can be unlocked after obtaining 25/10 GonGon character shards.

His Max skill which is Monkey Punch that requires 10 mana and deals Physical damage and gains taunt for 3 turns. Also if the target is below 50% health then inflicts stun for 1 turn.

His Star skill is pumped up which you have to match a Green Star tile/Super Green star tile and the team gains growth for 3 turns.

His Passive skill is super monkey wall where he gains bonus health.
