Giga Trooper

Those look like G.U.N. Battle Robots! Pretty strong ones too from what I've seen.

Dr. Eggman, Shadow the Hedgehog

The Giga Trooper[1] (ギガトルーパー[2] Giga Torūpā?) is an enemy that appears in Shadow the Hedgehog. It is a mass-produced, humanoid robot model deployed by GUN, and a more advanced version of the GUN Trooper.

Overview

The Giga Troopers first appeared as uncommon enemies in Shadow the Hedgehog. They are only encountered in GUN Fortress, where they can be found fighting alongside GUN Troopers, Big Foot Type As and Big Foot Type Bs to defend the fortress from Shadow and the Black Arms.

Giga Troopers have superb resistance to damage. When facing them, it takes about six Homing Attacks to destroy them. In terms of attack patterns, they will try charging at the playable character when they spot them. The Giga Troopers also wield weapons like RPGs and Semi-Auto Rifles which they will use against the playable character. Once a Giga Trooper is defeated, it will drop its weapon, allowing the playable character to use it themselves. Their combined durability and choice of weaponry makes them one of the overall toughest enemies in Shadow the Hedgehog and one of the strongest GUN robots in the game, second only to the Big Foot Type B. They each also grant 500 Dark points upon defeat.

Power and abilities

The Giga Trooper has the same abilities as that of GUN Trooper, except it has stronger armor.

Weapons

The Giga Troopers each wield an assortment of powerful GUN weapons, such as RPGs and Semi-Auto Rifles.
