Among the few information related to AMABIE-TV in the game, it can be learned that this company created a quiz program called Faith to Face, Chinpei Wagai served as the director and Andes Komeji served as the host of this program.
The Half Body Serial Killings starts with Kuruto Ryuki and a few other members of the cast at Studio Dvaita, participating in a quiz show called "Faith to Face" that is hosted by AMABIE-TV. Faith to Face is a six-hour livestream marathon, with its contestants being everyday people that are cycled out every hour. The lights go out in the middle of the show, and when they're turned back on, half a corpse appears in the middle of the set.

- The amabie[1] is a Japanese folklore creature, which is represented in the service's logo. It is a mermaid that can see into the future and offers prophecies of bountiful harvests or encroaching pandemics. The character Amame Doi is a reference to this legend.
