Julian (ジュリアン, Jurian?) is a recurring character in the Shining series. He is one of the main protagonists in Shining Force III Scenario 1: God Warrior of the Kingdom and he also appears in Shining Force III Scenario 2: Target: Child of God and Shining Force III Scenario 3: Bulzome Rising.
In Shining the Holy Ark, Julian is a small boy in Enrich that wishes to become a warrior and avenge his father's death from a Vandal, after reveal to be by the hand of Galm.
Profile
He joins Synbios as they leave Railhead and later after the Besem Statue is destroyed and the Vandal Galm appears, is thrown off a cliff into the water. He later washes up from the river near Medion's party and remains with them until upon realising the extent of the threat from the Bulzome Sect, leaves with the Holy Child of Elbesem Gracia and Donhort to fulfill their own quest. Julian was originally from the kingdom of Enrich. His father was killed by the Vandal Galm and since then Julian has been searching for Galm to exact his revenge.
Personality
In scenario 1, Julian is a quick tempered and rushes toward Galm, hoping to stand a chance to avenge his father's death, but is unable to even touch him, Galm throwing him away as nothing and concentrate on Basanda.
In scenario 2, Julian survived his fall and seems a bit more calm, but still seeks his revenge, even if he finally choose to help Gracia in his quest when he realize the threat of the Bulzome's sect.
In scenario 3, he faces Galm near the end but spares his life and let him go, focusing on Bulzome.
