The Hero [HERO] class is the promoted class of Swordsmen. It is mistranslated in Shining the Holy Ark as "Champion" and in Shining Force III as "Swordman". In Shining Force III Scenario 3: Bulzome Rising, Heroes may be further promoted to Apostle of Light.
Description
Unlike the unpromoted Swordsmen, Heroes can learn the Bolt spell. A Hero usually can equip a mythical weapon of some sort that no other character can equip (like the Chaos Breaker or Sword of Hajya).
