Dantares (ダンタレス, Dantaresu?) is a prominent knight of the Aspinian Republic, and the right hand man of Lord Synbios. He serves as a playable centaur knight in the games Shining Force III Scenario 1 and Shining Force III Scenario 3, also serving as an Advisor for a portion of Scenario 1, and briefly appears as a NPC in Shining Force III Scenario 2. He is the only character in the series to serve as both an adviser and playable character simultaneously.
