Orazio is a planet and location mentioned in Serious Sam's Bogus Detour.
Overview
Orazio is a planet located in an unknown region of space. The planet's ecology has a rather unstable environment, and is highly acidic and radioactive deep underground.[1]
History
At some point prior to the events of Serious Sam's Bogus Detour, Orazio was the location the Orcs were sent to upon being exiled by the Zorg Empire after the mutagenic chemical ooze was banned.[2] Upon their exile, the Orcs founded a planetary mining company, the Altani corporation, which specialized in wide scale planetary mining. The company found that the planet was rich in resources, and thus they began large-scale mining operations. Due to the dangerous radiation levels present underground, the Altani corporation designed specialized mining machines - PRIME-209 and Tech-X - to deal with the problem.
Eventually, the company became highly successful, something that didn't go unheard of, and soon Mental found about the company and the Ooze that they used on themselves. Mental and the company formed an alliance, and soon the company became merged with his army, renaming it to Mental-Altani.[2] Upon its renaming, the corporation repurposed their mining equipment, and fitted them with weapons with the intention of the machines being used for combat.[1] This was known as the 'Mech Replacement Program'.
