Jet is a character from Super Monkey Ball, debuting in Super Monkey Ball 3D.

History

Jet first appears in the trailer for Super Monkey Ball 3D, in which he antagonises AiAi, making him slam into a tree, and challenging him to both a fist fight and a go kart race. At the end of the trailer he attempts to steal the banana AiAi is reaching for, but is knocked out the way by the title.

Jet appears as a playable character in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz minigame selection.

Jet was later kidnapped in Super Monkey Ball Bounce by Professor Boscis, and is one of the last characters AiAi and friends rescue.

Jet returns in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania as an unlockable character.

Trivia

• Jet, despite appearing to be a major character in Super Monkey Ball 3D's announcement trailer, doesn't actually interact with AiAi much in the main game only being playable in Super Monkey Ball 3D's mini games.
• Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania has Jet as an unlockable character for 5000 banana coins. This will allow him to be playable in the main campaign for the first time ever. Usually Jet, much like Jam is relegated to the party games only.
• Jet has an alt version of himself known as B. Jet, or Bone Jet.
• Jet attacks in Super Monkey Ball 3D's Monkey Fight by shooting an energy blast out of his hands known as the 'Kung Fu Laser'.
• Jet's bio in Super Monkey Ball Banana Splitz states he decided AiAi was his rival on the spot during a moment on enlightenment at the moment they met.
• Jet has average stats in Monkey Fight, matching AiAi perfectly.
