Europe is considered a peninsula of peninsulas, with the continent itself jutting out of Asia and consisting of peninsulas such as the Iberian peninsula, Scandinavia, Finland, Italy the Balkin peninsula, and Crimea along with smaller peninsulas around the continent.
Most of the current ruling royal families, such as the current monarchs of the United Kingdom, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, and the out of power royal families of Romania, Greece, and Yugoslavia/Serbia, as well as the children of Tzar Nikolai II, are descendants of either Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom, King Christian IX of Denmark, or both.
