General Renaude was a recurring character in the second season of Reign. He was portrayed by Vince Nappo.
He was the head of the military who served Stéphane Narcisse and had an affair with Kenna de Poitiers.

Early Life
All that is known about his early life is that he has a son who was captured by the English in one of his battles.
In the Series
Season Two
In The Siege, Renaude is captured by Louis of Condé and his men. Condé convinces Renaude to join him in return for his son. Seeing he is allied with England, Renaude agrees.
In Burn, Renaude is captured when he allied himself with Condé to save his son. He is later hanged, with Kenna his death, as she tells Renaude that she will remember him forever.
Personality
Ambitious, brazen, and bold, General Renaude went after what he wanted. Though noble, he tended to prioritise shortcuts and attaining wealth and influence to secure his own interests.

General Renaude is a muscular man, likely in his late thirties. He has strawberry blonde hair, dark blue eyes, pale skin and a beard.

Renaude comes from the Germanic "ragin and Waldan" meaning: "Board and rule".
