Snow Tank (unofficial name) is the fourth boss from Raiden Fighters.
Details
This boss appears as a large, blue bulldozer-like vehicle. Aside from its two-barrelled cannon it also has 2 small turrets mounted behind its body, which can be destroyed. The cannon can also be destroyed, revealing another gun in the hatch behind it which is its weak spot. As it moves on the snow it liberates the openings on the structures buried under the snow, from which tanks appear from to aid the boss. The bulldozer-like construct on the front of the boss can also be destroyed for extra points.
Trivia
- As the tank moves through the battleground, snow can be seen spewing out of the two pipes on its back. Due to the bulldozer-like construct on front of it, it's possible that this tank was originally made for the task of clearing snow, but was modified with weapons shortly afterwards.
- Much like the Carrier Ship, the Snow Tank lacks an official name.
- They are the only bosses in Raiden Fighters to lack official names, and the first bosses in the series to lack official names.
