Da Ruruta is the boss of stage 5 in Raiden IV. It is one of the two bosses that appeared exclusively in Additional Mode.
Details
Da Rutura is a Lotus Flower-shaped Satellite type boss appears in Additional mode, its First form is roughly based on a Rocket Spacecraft and its Second form is based on a typical Satellite.
Attack Patterns/Phase
Phase I:
The Boss begins to take off offscreen before the player leaves the Asteroid Area in a similar Space Shuttle fashion, before encountering, after encountering, the boss starts to fire several Bullets on its sides and closes after, then it will open more armaments and a Beehive turret that shoots 6 Bullets upon you, it will repeat its patterns until the first segment is Destroyed.
Phase II:
Once the Part segment is destroyed, the Boss itself begins to "Bloom" as a flower and begin to unleash a HELL of Armaments, the Central part CANNOT be Damaged as the "Petals" are the weak points of the Boss. the end tips fires 3 way bullets 8 times interval; Once the Petals begin to spin, beware of the Bullets as they also come with Destructible bullets and normal bullets. The "Stigma" turrets will always fire Destructible Bullets but BE CAREFUL when nearing this boss, the Stigma part can also deploy Buzzaw Bullets. Be cautious as the Auxiliary cannons present in the boss fires Buzzsaws in a 4 way spread, these fires on both sides, the Central part will also attack as its fold its weapon attacking you with 5 way (or 3 way when spinning its weaponry) bullets for diversion tactics.
Destruction
As you destroy the Petals of the Boss, the boss will be destroyed similar to a flower that has been rotted.
