Hummingbird is the fourth boss from Raiden Fighters 2: Operation Hell Dive. It reappears in Raiden Fighters Jet as a midboss in Level 35.
Details
Hummingbird is a large black jet plane with thrust vectored engines and canards. It has many hardpoints that fire bullets. There is a wing-mounted gun on each wingtip. The designation XB-3 is painted on its right wing, with XB standing for "experimental bomber."
Hummingbird moves fast for its size, using its speed and agility to trap players with bullet streams.
Trivia
The Hummingbird's design basis is that of the family of birds of the same name. Its shape resembles a hummingbird in flight, and its agility is inspired by the hummingbird's unique flight capabilities.
