"Re" (レ Re) is the fourth chapter of the PPPPPP manga series
Summary
Lucky is watching Reijiro perform on TV and is completely enveloped by his playing. He even sees a sunset. Reijiro confirms he will be entering various competitions all over Japan in an interview. Lucky wants to see him but it will be hard as Reijiro is very famous.
He receives a care package from his aunt but all it contains is expired bread. There was also a message from Masashi cursing him as he believes it is Lucky's fault he failed to get into any music high schools. They'll be leaving for the Sendai the week after next to watch the final day. Hideo advises Lucky to study his siblings in order to catch up to them.
In a flashback it is shown Reijiro adored Lucky and relied on him a lot, always asking to play, eat and sleep together as he gets very lonely.
Hideo tells Lucky he has to face off against the Otogami to call himself a pianist. Lucky is hesitant as they are his siblings but he has to fight so he can become a pianist.
Furusu, Lucky and Hideo are now at the Sendai International Music Competition. Furusu asks if Lucky has heard Reijiro perform and he says yes it's like the sunset. Furusu says it's not just a sunset which confuses Lucky.
Suddenly someone tugs on Lucky's jacket from behind and it is Reijiro. Lucky is very nervous to see him and Reijiro asks how he is. Reijiro also thanks him for coming to watch him compete. Lucky notices the bags under his eyes, just like his mother had mentioned after seeing him on tv. Lucky tells Reijiro that their mother is worried. Reijiro isn't happy that she's worrying about him and questions why she won't help him (Reijiro does not know she is ill in hospital).
Lucky gets a call from Furusu and then reveals he wants to become a pianist to Reijiro. Reijiro knocks him down to the ground and tells Lucky he can't become a pianist as he is not a genius. Reijiro says he was told by gakuon to win all the competitions in Japan so that's why he's here.
Reijiro tells Lucky to listen carefully to his performance to show him why normal people can't become pianists.
