Valfer Javellana Alo (born June 21, 2000) known by his stage name Valfer, is a Filipino singer and rapper formerly under Viva Records. He was a former member of boy group Alamat.
He made his solo debut on June 21, 2022 with his first digital single “Sumpa”.
Career
2020-2022: Alamat
On November 5, 2020, Valfer was introduced to public through Alamat Facebook page as Trainee 7 and his codename Yuhom, the Hiligaynon word for "smile" and references his hometown Bacolod City, known as the "City of Smiles".[1]
On February 14, Valfer debuted as an official member of Alamat with their debut single "kbye".[2]
On February 27, Valfer left the group and without an official reason announced by VIVA Agency, Alamat's management also said that the group will continue as a seven-member group.
2022—present: Fandom Name Reveal, Solo debut, Comeback Single, First Collaboration Single
On May 20, 2022 during his Bigo Live, he announced that his fandom name will be "Valliance".
On June 15, 2022 it was announced that Valfer would make his first solo debut on June 21, 2022 with his first digital single “Sumpa”.
On November 4, 2022, Valfer released his comeback single, "Sana Naman."
On December 21, 2022, Valfer collaborated with Soy on a new single called "Pano Na 'To?" Valfer is also one of the composers of the song.
On February 17, 2023, Valfer collaborated with Kyla Camerong on the single "Sige, Sige" where he helped compose the song.
On October 14, 2023, it was revealed that Valfer had signed with GKD Labels [3][4]
On October 16, 2023, the first half of the scheduler for Valfer's comeback was posted, with the other half posted on November 4, 2023. [5][6] On November 10, 2023, Valfer's comeback "Stimuli" and its music video is released on all streaming platforms.
