Taako (ター子?) is one of the characters from pop'n music 16 PARTY♪.
History
Her insert song, こなもん屋人情歌, tells the story of Taako and her conflicts in her family's takoyaki restaurant, which goes to business 8 generations ago. Taako befriends the daughter of the okonomiyaki restaurant owner, Miiko. Their friendship had be interrupted by both the takoyaki owner and the okonomiyaki owner, fighting and separating the daughters. Taako rebels against her father from isolating her and Miiko, wishing that both of them and their families from two restaurants should get along together.
Appearance
Taako is a young girl with brown hair, stylized into a side tail with a takoyaki sphere. She also has regular black eyes. Her outfit is a chartreuse shirt, blue bottoms, and sand-tannish sandals with orange straps. She usually wears a large, orange coat that labels "takoyaki" and an image of an octopus; and a fuchsia hand purse strapped around her neck.
Her 2P variant gives Taako dark brown eyes, and lilac-purple hair with her takoyaki accessory entirely pink. Her coat is blue, her sandals pink, her skirt pale-darkish green, and her hand purse orange.

- Taako and the others' appearances (minus the ones from her FEVER! animation) are really different from their original pop'n music designs in こなもん屋人情歌's GITADORA video. Taako and Miiko look a bit older than their original designs.

Etymology
- Her name, as well as the octopus she has in the back of her coat, could be possibly a reference to Tako from the Parodius series.
