Dufus Jones, although referred to as Popeye's nephew, is truly the son of old family friend Pooky Jones. A tall, rotund youngster, Dufus is often seen in the company of Swee'Pea. Dufus appears in comics but never in theatrical films or television episodes. He is portrayed as being almost as strong as his "Uncle Popeye".
