Charizard

Charizard is a Fire, Flying-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. It evolves from Charmeleon after being fed 100 candies. Charizard is the final evolution of Charmander that is a Starter Pokémon. It can Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y initially after being given 200 Mega Energy. It can Gigantamax into Gigantamax Charizard if it is capable to.

Charizard flies around the sky in search of powerful opponents. It breathes fire of such great heat that it melts anything. However, it never turns its fiery breath on any opponent weaker than itself.

Shiny form of Clone Charizard does not exist in game code.

  • Charizard is a tier 3 Raid Boss most recently. However, it used to be a tier 4 before.
  • Normally, evolved stages of Pokémon cannot be shiny in encounter screen, but during Raid Day and after its Mega Evolution release, Charizard could.
  • Before the release of Mega Levels, Charizard could Mega Evolve into Mega Charizard X or Mega Charizard Y initially after being given 200 Mega Energy, and 40 afterwards.
