Aurus is one of the six islands that make up the Lental archipelago in New Pokémon Snap.

Geography

Aurus is the smallest island in the Lental archipelago. It is largely made up of forest, though forgotten ruins of unknown origins lay on the island. Pokémon reside in these ruins. It is located in the northwest in the Lental archipelago.

Levels

Ruins of Remembrance

An ancient ruin where Pokémon stand guard. It is a piece of Lental's history and may have some signs of the past.

Aurus Illumina Spot

A large ruined monument where the Illumina Pokémon of Aurus, Xerneas, can be found.

Trivia

• Aurus is the only island in New Pokémon Snap in which Vivillon can not be encountered.
  • This is similar to Magikarp in the original Pokémon Snap in which it can appear in every level with the exception of the last one.
