Lental is the region where New Pokémon Snap takes place. It is an archipelago containing many different environments including deserts, jungles, forests, plains and beaches.
Islands
Lental is known for its different islands containing many different species of Pokémon. Pokémon are found on the various islands which have a variety of biomes.
Florio
An island containing a nature park consisting of plains, trees, a lake and river, and a large flower field.
Maricopia
An island with a beach environment and lots of Pokémon in its waters.
Belusylva
An island with lots of trees, enough to form a jungle and a foggy forest.
Voluca
An island with hot environments including a desert and volcanic plain.
Durice
An island with cold environments containing snow and caves.
Aurus
A forgotten island with thick forests and mysterious ruins.
Trivia
- There is an event that occasionally occurs to the Pokémon living in the region known as the Illumina Phenomenon, assumed to be generated by a mysterious flower. It makes the Pokémon glow with a neon shine, similar to Primal Reversion.
- The name Lental may be a play on the word "lens", referring to a camera lens (as the main goal of New Pokémon Snap is to take pictures with a camera).
