Synopsis
The episode starts off with Connor, Amaya, and Greg having a sleepover at Amaya’s house. They stargaze for any nebulas or constellations with Amaya’s telescope, but they spot a flying object, which is heading towards HQ. Once they arrive there, the PJ Picture Player reveals it to be a giant rock, and they head outside. Gekko is about to stop it with his Super Lizard Shield, but Armadylan jumps in and smashes it with his Armor-Plated Smash Attack.
Armadylan reveals that he was the one who threw the rock into outer space; he was practicing his moves since the PJ Masks are doing heroic stuff all the time. He apologizes for almost destroying HQ and asks if he can help them to make up for what he caused. The team accepts, though they huddle as he exercises: Armadylan always overdoes things. However, he is just excited, and it is only for one night. PJ Robot suddenly starts beeping; multiple villains are causing trouble around the city. The team asks Armadylan for help, to which he accepts, saying that he’s ready to squash the villains.
The heroes first encounter Romeo and Robot, who are stealing Flossy Flash figurines from the toy store. Gekko uses his Super Gekko Muscles to grab Robot, who has the figurines in possession. However, Armadylan uses his Ground Pound, and the shaking causes Gekko to drop him. Armadylan grabs Robot as he drops the figurines, spins him to tangle him up, and throws him. Robot rolls around, hitting multiple objects on the streets, but Romeo doesn’t mind since the town is being wrecked.
The next villains are Night Ninja and his Ninjalinos, who are stealing artifacts from the museum. The PJ Masks block the ninjas from escaping on each side, but Armadylan rolls in and knocks the group of villains over. Once they recover, Night Ninja mocks how Armadylan is taking over, and they leave, leaving the scattered artifacts on the ground.
A few moments later, the group chases Luna Girl, who is planning to steal playground equipment. Catboy jumps in to stop her, but Armadylan slides in and crashes into them. Catboy tells Armadylan that he had this taken care of, though Armadylan is still proud of himself for stopping Luna Girl. The moths come in and give her her Luna Magnet, and they make their escape.
Soon, the heroes return to headquarters. Armadylan is very proud of how his moves stopped the villains from causing any more trouble. Exhausted, the PJ Masks thank him for his help, and tell him that they are going back inside. To their surprise, Armadylan also wants to come in to see what's inside, especially since he was around earlier to protect their headquarters. They know that he was the one who almost destroyed the place when he threw the rock earlier.
Nevertheless, they let him in. Armadylan asks the PJ Masks what awesome things come with being a member, and expresses his desire to have them. He gives himself the nickname PJ Dylan so he can be part of the team and do heroic things with them. He doesn’t know his excitement is causing trouble: he almost damaged HQ’s controls on the PJ Picture Player, bumped Catboy away while trying to come up with a secret handshake, and broke the Cat-Car's seats after taking a look at it.
As PJ Robot gets some tools for Armadylan to fix the vehicle, Catboy, Owlette and Gekko huddle together: Armadylan is causing more trouble than he is stopping it, but they are conflicted over whether or not they should tell him. Unfortunately, Armadylan overhears their conversation and storms off in a huff.
PJ Robot warns the PJ Masks of Armadylan's departure. They catch up and try to talk with him, but he is too angry to listen. Believing that they don’t want him on the team, he decides to destroy HQ and rolls over. Owlette shoots multiple Owl Feathers down to block his path; when that doesn’t work, Catboy Super Cat Speeds around him, and he is sent rolling away. Armadylan now heads into town, though, and he can't stop.
The team follows him in the now-fixed Cat-Car while avoiding the multiple objects he bumps into. When they lose him, Owlette sees with her Owl Eyes that Armadylan is heading towards the museum. She uses her Owl Wing Wind to slow him down, giving Catboy and Gekko enough time to catch up. She gives way, and Gekko uses his strength to stop Armadylan from rolling.
Armadylan thanks the PJ Masks for saving him and apologizes for his behavior. The others also apologize, as they never meant to hurt his feelings. He forgives them, and feels that he is not ready to join a team yet since he works best by himself. He is still allowed to help out once in a while, so he will come rolling in when they need him. Armadylan gives the team a hug, and everyone shouts out the signature victory phrase, ending the episode.
Moral/Lesson
- If someone is doing something that is wrong or annoying you, it's best to be upfront and tell them instead of keeping it to yourself. However, you should also take care to tell them gently so as to not hurt their feelings
