Violet (15 June[1]) is a teenager who lives in Camena and appears in Oxenfree II: Lost Signals.
Biography
Olivia is an only child with divorced parents, and a bad relationship with her mother, that is why she wants to live with her father[2].
Before hanging out with Olivia, Charlie and Violet were friends with Maria, the host of Camena High School Radio Station[3]. Now, they barely see each other, hence why Maria is mad at Olivia. According to Maria, Violet does whatever Olivia says, and Charlie has a crush on her, which makes Maria jealous[4].
Violet and her friends met Jacob on an Internet forum without knowing each other's real identities. Due to the knowledge that Maggie Adler taught him, he learned how to tune the radio to talk to dead people, and told Olivia, Charlie and Violet how[5]. In the events of the game, Olivia wants to use this information to communicate with her parents, thanks to the Blue Moon[6], and with the help of Violet and Charlie.
Despite Olivia being part of Parentage, a cult focused on the moon, Violet and Charlie do not share the same belief.
At the end of the game, depending on both the decision of who enters the portal, and who Riley befriends, the player can hear different voicemails between Violet and her friends showing how they have handled the traumatizing experience, and what impact Riley has done on their lives.
In short, if Olivia enters the portal, Violet will miss her. If Jacob enters the portal and Riley has befriended Violet, she and Charlie won't be in touch with Olivia anymore, but if Riley does not befriend her or if she sacrifices herself, Violet will resent Olivia and blame her.
Appearance
Violet has short black hair with blue streaks. She wears round glasses, a hat and a blue scarf.
Personality
According to Maria, Violet's personality is plain[7]. She likes to talk about her family situation with other people, especially at parties. Violet enjoys watching sitcoms and playing collectible card games[8].
