  • His flamboyant demeanor, haircut and verbal tic of calling other players "~boy" is derived from the character Maximillion Pegasus from the anime Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel Monsters.
    • Like Jack, Pegasus is the original creator of the card game around which the series centres.
  • His haircut under the Pegasus-like uniform resembles Paradox's, the villain of Yu-Gi-Oh: Bonds Beyond Time.
