Tape is an item present in Oddworld: Soulstorm. It is found in every level with sligs; it's only absent in The Raid on Monsaic and The Sanctum.
Overview
This blue adhesive tape is used to tie up Sligs when they are unconscious. Unlike with Bolamites and outlaws, sligs cannot break out of tape. Sligs in this state can be easily pickpocketed, and still take damage; this is unnecessary, as tied up sligs will despawn after a few seconds. Tape can be found in bins, slig pockets and lockers.
Tape can be combined with Bouncy Candy and Epoxy to create Bouncy Binding Candy, capable of permanently incapacitating sligs at range. It is also the only way to tie up flying sligs, which causes them to spin out and explode.
