The Bolamite is one of the critters the bounty hunter, Stranger, uses to capture outlaws. The Bolamite spider uses a web to wrap and immobilize enemies/characters so Stranger can bounty up. But bounty quickly: the enemy is captured but for a short time.
The Bolamite is an Immobilization ammo. Later in the game, its upgraded into the Bola Blast.
