Reflex is an element. It is generally associated with the colors red and scarlet.

Users' abilities

Superhuman Reflexes - The user has better reflexes at superhuman degrees which they can use to avoid attacks. It can also be used to increase their reflexes further, making them up to twice as fast as their opponents.^[1]
- Superhuman Agility - The user also has superhuman degrees of agility to support their reflexes.
- Superhuman Speed - The user also has superhuman levels of swiftness whenever they use this power actively.
  - Speed Aura - When using their super speed, the user is shrouded in a glowing red aura of speed.
  - Afterimage Creation - The user can generate afterimages with their super speed.
  - Speed Strike - The user is able to use striking skills with high power due to high speed, meaning that they can punch, kick, cut, piece, smash, etc. at high speed effectively.
- Superhuman Stamina - The user also has superhuman levels of stamina which allows them to use their powers for great levels of time without displaying any sign of exhaustion.

The symbol for Reflex is four vertical red lines of different lengths.

Reflex is similar to another Elemental Power, Speed, though it is not as fast as the latter.^[2] When further asked about the difference between the two, Chris “Doc” Wyatt stated that Speed is starting at a full stop and going into a dead run, while Reflex is about reaction and redirecting incoming energy and motion.^[3]
Reflex is one of the seventeen elements that are currently not known to be confined to a human host. The other sixteen are Ice, Time, Fusion, Balance, Propulsion, Figment, Plants, Quake, Size, Sound, Surface Tension, Brute Force, Fear, Swarm, Misfortune, and Decay.
Chris "Doc" Wyatt states that among the elements Size, Figment, Reflex, and Surface Tension, three were formed as a result of the Merge, while one already existed beforehand.^[4]
