Hakado, known in Japanese as Hakkado (ハッカード Hakkādo), is an HKD-type Medabot that first appeared in Medarot R.
Description
Hakado is based on Zhu Bajie (Cho Hakkai in Japanese), a humanoid-pig from the Chinese novel Journey to the West, being part of a set of three Medabots that include himself, Gokudo and Sir Gold. Hakado is mostly orange and brown in color, with a pale pink detail in the front of his head resembling a snout. His arms have gray details resembling screws.
In the games
Hakado acts more like a team player when in battle, but can equally fight on his own without any difficulties. His right arm has a mid-damage Hammer attack, and his left arm has Single Clear, allowing him to negate one attack from his enemies. These roles make Hakado more of a support fighter than anything else. However, his head has Cross Attack Set, so when teamed with a partner who can use Cross Attack Fire, like Sir Gold, he becomes much more dangerous, being able to easily cripple his opponent with a powerful blow.

In the anime
A Hakado with a Monkey Medal is part of Shrimplips' Medabot team along with Gokudo and Sir Gold. Each one of them have been recognized as some of the Rubberobo Gang's most powerful Medabots. In Enter Rintaro, they managed to defeat Metabee, Sumilidon and Kantaroth in a 3 on 3 match. However, Hakado, along with his teammates, lost to the Space Medafighter X's Arcbeetle and Metabee, both in 3 on 1 handicap matches in The Ace from Outer Space.
