—Carnage[source]The codex is -- in the right hands -- a design... a template for the greatest blade of them all. They call it All-Black, the Necrosword, the Butcher's blade. When Malekith wielded the weapon, he took on the Venom symbiote to do so. And the symbiote left its codex behind. The blade itself possesses power beyond knowing. But black is such an unimaginative color for a weapon of such exquisite tastes, don't you think, Drorin? I think we'll make a few modifications.
History
All-Blood the Necrospear is a divine weapon forged by Drorin Runehewer and Carnage using All-Black the Necrosword as a template, granting Carnage power akin to that of Knull.[3]

When Cletus Kasady was reanimated by Knull, he plotted to usurp the dark god's power to become a god of destruction himself.[4] Thwarted by Eddie Brock beating him to the punch,[5] Cletus came up with a new plan to become a God-Butcher that he set in motion by corrupting several of the symbiotes left stranded on Earth following Knull's invasion and assimilating the Extrembiote.[6][7] However, Cletus eventually recanted his ambitions of godhood, leading to a falling out between himself and the Carnage symbiote.[8]
Deciding to enact the plan on its own, Carnage subsequently embarked on a quest across the Ten Realms until it reached Niffleheim.[9] Carnage hunted down Malekith in Hel and extracted the codex left in his body from when he had bonded to the Venom symbiote and manifested All-Black the Necrosword during the War of the Realms.[10][11] After travelling to Nidavellir and freeing Drorin Runehewer, a dwarf-lord and master blacksmith, Carnage demanded he use the codex as a template to forge a modified replica of All-Black.[11]
Drorin set about doing so, but conspired with Kenneth Neely -- a human serial killer swept up by Carnage's omnicidal ambitions -- to use the heat of the forge to kill the symbiote. Their plan nearly succeeded, but Jon Shayde -- a police officer who had been hunting for Neely -- unintentionally saved Carnage. Carnage consumed the corpses of the dwarves slain by the God of Hammers' rampage to absorb the Uru in their flesh, blood, and bones; undergoing apotheosis and manifesting the Necrosword as a bident-type spear.[3]
Near the end of the Venom War, Carnage lended All-Blood to Meridius to reassert his control over the Zombiotes.[12] Meridius then attempted to kill Dylan Brock using All-Blood, but in that moment the latter was imbued with the Eganrac which allowed Dylan to convert the weapon into its opposite self. Dylan proceeded to use All-Blood to kill Meridius, but after finishing the deed, it and Eganrac reacted violently upon contact, causing them to destroy each other and attempt to corrupt both him and the Venom symbiote. Venom separated from Dylan to save him and was seemingly destroyed by Alchemax alongside of what remained of All-Blood. With All-Blood gone, Carnage lost all of the powers it had stolen as they were stored inside the weapon, reverting it to its normal self.[13]Properties
Forged using All-Black the Necrosword as a template, All-Blood was created using the Godmaker forge -- birthplace of world-shattering divine weapons like Mjolnir and Gungnir; giving it the power to destroy entire planets.[11] After bonding to it, Carnage became largely immune to fire and sonic-based attacks, boasting that it had ascended to godhood and was therefore immortal.[2] Wielding All-Blood, Carnage also became able to easily kill superhumans with potent healing factors, such as Wolverine,[14] and powerful cosmic and divine entities such as the Silver Surfer and Knull;[15] absorbing their powers in the process.
