Godmaker

History

The Godmaker was King Eitri's personal forge, where divine weapons such as Mjolnir were created.[1] Using heat from stars such as the Kelidan constellation, the dwarves would smelt Uru and forge it into weapons with the power to reshape or destroy worlds.[2] Eitri's brother Drorin Runehewer protested the creation of these weapons, and was subsequently disowned and imprisoned.[1]

When Mjolnir manifested as the God of Hammers, it slaughtered the dwarves working in the forge.[3] Thor used the Bifrost to transport Mjolnir to the Godmaker, which he used the destroy the divine hammer and kill the God of Hammers.[4]

Some time later, Carnage freed Drorin from his prison and forced him to help forge a Necrosword. Drorin and Ken Neely attempted to kill Carnage using the forge's power, but failed due to the unwitting intervention of Jon Shayde. Carnage devoured the corpses of the slain dwarves to assimilate the Uru in their remains, undergoing apotheosis and manifesting a divine weapon called All-Blood.[2]
