Mario vs. Donkey Kong

There is a toy box in every Mini-Mario level. When starting a Mini-Mario level, there is a short scene in which two Toads are seen carrying a toy box, which they both throw into the air, and the toy box drops somewhere in the level.

The object of a Mini-Mario level is for Mario to guide all of the Mini-Marios into the toy box. Whenever a Mini-Mario approaches the toy box, it opens automatically. Once every Mini-Mario has entered the toy box, Mario has to close and lock it by jumping onto the toy box, then the player must press B Button for Mario to perform an animation in which he says, "Haha! Gotcha!" before landing back onto the ground, then the level ends.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem!

Toy boxes are featured in the minigame levels. In odd-numbered attractions, dropping any type of Mini into a toy box with a star on it rewards point, the number depending on the multiplier below the toy box, whilst dropping Minis into a black toy box depicting a red "X" subtracts points, the number also depending on the multiplier below the toy box. In even-numbered attractions, toy boxes instead depict a Mini's face. Here, dropping a Mini of a certain character into its corresponding toy box is worth 100 points, but dropping a Mini into the incorrect toy box neither provides nor subtracts points.
