Chucksters are a variant of Pianta exclusively appearing in Super Mario Sunshine.

Personality traits

Their main role is to throw Mario on to certain areas that he cannot otherwise reach on his own.

In Super Mario Sunshine

Chucksters can be found in a few different areas on Isle Delfino. In the hub area, Delfino Plaza, one Chuckster can be found on a roof close to the cannon leading to Pinna Park. If Mario pays the Chuckster a single coin, he will chuck Mario over to a window that leads to a Shine Sprite.

Several Chucksters can be found during Pianta Village's fifth episode, Secret of the Village Underside. Mario must talk to some specific Chucksters to have them throw him to a certain spot. Mario must face an angle to be thrown in the direction he wishes to travel in.
