rEALITY is a song from MAMAMOO's studio album reality in BLACK, and was first released as part of the album on November 14, 2019. It was later included in the release of reality in BLACK -Japanese Edition-, which was on March 11, 2020.

Description

Like the reversed spelling of the title, sometimes reality flows in a different direction than your thoughts. "rEALITY" talks about the process of recognizing the end of a petty breakup, accepting that time, and acknowledging the other person's absence. The dual harmonics are impressive as the cheerful guitar riff ironically combines serious lyrics about the aftermath of a breakup.^[1]

Trivia

Moon Byul said that Park Woo-sang thought of the song's lyrics when his friend came to him asking for some advice.^[2]
