6equence is Moon Byul's second extended play, which was released on January 19, 2022. "LUNATIC is the album's title track, and the song was released alongside the album.[1] The album features the pre-release singles "G999" featuring Mirani and "Shutdown" featuring Seori, each released respectively on December 13 and December 30, 2021.

Album Concept

The album's main theme involves the stages of a relationship: from the moment you fall in love, to the climax, breaking up, and then moments of lingering feelings.[2] Each song in the album can be considered a "scene" of that process, just like the sequence of scenes in a short film.[3]

Trivia

  1. Moon Byul held a mini-concert for 6equence at Blue Square Mastercard Hall, Seoul (offline) and on interpark (online). The event is titled as "Director's cut : 6equence", and it took place on March 5 and March 6, 2022.[4]
