Hallatan was a noble Man of Númenor.
Biography
Hallatan was the second child and only son of Cemendur, a descendant of Vardamir Nólimon. His sister was Írildë. He owned a large amount of pastoral land in the Númenórean province of Emerië where many sheep were herded. This farming settlement was named Hyarastorni, where Hallatan ruled as 'Sheep-lord'. He often hosted Aldarion at his home in the reign of Tar-Meneldur, and where the other shepherds of Hyarastorni were known to come to visit. He was married to an unnamed woman and their children were Hallacar and Nessanië. His son came to marry Ancalimë in TA 1000.[1]
