Emerië was a region in the middle of Númenor.[1]
Emerië was a land of green grass, rolling hills and valleys, where many grazing sheep were herded. The people of Emerië were mainly of Bëorian origins, and they spoke an accented Adûnaic with many Bëorian words and some other oddities.[2]
Erendis, wife of Tar-Aldarion, originally came from Emerië, and after she and her husband separated due to his love for the sea, she returned back. The region was home to the White House of Erendis, built for her by Tar-Aldarion, as well as the large farm and dwelling named Hyarastorni, owned and ruled by the Sheep-lords Hallatan and Hallacar, his son, who employed many shepherds into their service.[2]
