Nyata is a female skink. She is a member of Shupavu's group.
Nyata and her fellow skinks joined forces with Ushari the cobra to help resurrect the spirit of Scar. Through the spying efforts of the skinks, it was discovered that an evil Lion of the Past could be summoned in the volcano by a bakora staff and the Roar of the Elders. Following Scar's rise to power, the skinks served as his spies and minions. Eventually, the Pride Landers invaded the Outlands, destroyed Scar, and defeated his army.
Biography
Early life
Nyata lived in the Outlands as a member of Shupavu's group.[1]
Scar's resurrection
Nyata was present among her group when Ushari commanded the skinks to show themselves.[1]
Army of Scar
Defeat in the volcano
Nyata attempted to take down the Lion Guard along with the rest of the Army of Scar. She was defeated when Kion used the Roar of the Elders to clear a path out of the volcano.[2]
Attack on Kinyonga
Nyata and her fellow skinks were sent to capture Kinyonga after the chameleon was discovered to be spying on Scar. The skinks were defeated by the Lion Guard.[3]
Battle for the Pride Lands
Nyata and Nyeusi spied on Janja's clan in Kilio Valley and observed Janja pondering whether he was on the wrong side. Later, during the final battle, Nyata and the other skinks got tossed aside by the Lion Guard on their way to the volcano.[4]
Physical appearance
Nyata is a small, long-bodied, and slender skink. She has purple scales, with pink stripes on her back, deep violet legs that taper to pink claws, and a deep violet underbelly. She has black eyes with ice-blue sclerae.[1]
