 Tapirs are mammals that appear in The Lion Guard universe.

Information

The Malayan tapir, also called the Asian tapir, Asiatic tapir, Oriental tapir, Indian tapir, Panda tapir, or piebald tapir, is the largest of the five species of tapir and is the only one native to Asia. The scientific name refers to the East Indies, the species' natural habitat. Tapirs are excellent swimmers.

Mama Binturong

The Lion Guard are journeying through the forest to find another Moja Kwa Moja Stone for the Tree of Life. Beshte makes a new friend in Tenuk. Tenuk then introduces his friends Bambun, the mongoose and Seisou the gibbon. When the Lion Guard asks about tuliza for Kion, Tenuk runs away in terror.
